Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Çerkezköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ÇTSO), Ahmet Çetin, together with our Board Members and a delegation of 30 businesspeople, visited the Polish Chamber of Commerce.
As part of the program, which was attended by Michał Krawczyk, Vice President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, Marek Nowakowski, President of the Polish-Turkish Chamber of Commerce, and business representatives from Poland, a cooperation agreement was signed between our Chamber and the Polish Chamber of Commerce. In addition, bilateral B2B business meetings were held.
In his opening speech, ÇTSO Chairman Ahmet Çetin provided participants with information about our region’s industrial strength, production capacity, and the activities of our Chamber.
In his remarks, Mr. Çetin stated:
“We believe that the protocol we have signed and the meetings we have held today will make significant contributions to our export and import volumes. Through this cooperation, our members will be able to benefit more effectively from the strong commercial relations between the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Polish-Turkish Chamber of Commerce. I wish these agreements to be beneficial for both parties.”
Continuing his speech, Mr. Çetin also highlighted upcoming events organized by ÇTSO:
“As the Çerkezköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we are organizing the 10th Çerkezköy Industrial Fair on September 9–11, one of the largest industrial gatherings in our region. We would be delighted to welcome you and your members to our fair.”
Michał Krawczyk, Vice President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the importance of the newly established partnerships, stating:
“The cooperation agreements signed here today are of particular importance in helping increase the bilateral trade volume between our two countries from USD 12.5 billion to USD 20 billion. I believe our ties will continue to grow stronger. The agreements and discussions taking place today will lay the foundation for this development.”
