ÇEF 2026 Introduced at the Balkan Business Forum

The second day of the Balkan Business Forum, held in Bansko, Bulgaria, took place with the participation of public officials, business organizations, and numerous entrepreneurs from across the region. Attendees included Bulgaria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investment and Industry Aleksandar Pulev, Turkey’s Ambassador to Bulgaria Mehmet Sait Uyanık, Bansko Mayor Stoycho Banenski, our Chamber’s Chairman of the Board Ahmet Çetin, Commercial Attaché in Plovdiv Armağan Al, Commercial Attaché in Thessaloniki Dr. Gülcan İren, DEİK Turkey-Bulgaria Business Council Chairman Fikret İnce, BULTİŞAD Chairman of the Board Burhan Nemutlu, President of the Bulgaria-Romania Chamber of Commerce Attorney Viktor Gugushev, our Board Members Ufuk Mangır and Bünyamin Fırat, along with representatives of the business community.

Following the opening speeches, a panel titled “The Impact of Technology and Artificial Intelligence on Economic Growth and Competitiveness” was held. The program continued with the “Transportation, Logistics and Industrial Systems” panel, and later with the “Balkan Cooperation” panel, where our Chairman Ahmet Çetin participated as a speaker to discuss regional economic cooperation.

In his remarks, Chairman Ahmet Çetin emphasized that the Balkan region holds significant opportunities in trade, industry, and investment, noting that strengthening economic relations among regional countries would contribute to shared development. He also highlighted the upcoming 10th Çerkezköy Industrial Fair (ÇEF 2026), stating: “The Çerkezköy Industrial Fair has become an important meeting point for our industrialists, investors, and business representatives. We aim to increase international participation each year, particularly from Balkan countries. We invite all our stakeholders to ÇEF 2026, where we will showcase our region’s production power and industrial potential.”

Throughout the program, discussions focused on increasing regional trade volume, evaluating new investment opportunities, and fostering economic cooperation among countries.
