WE ARE ESTABLISHING TRADE BRIDGE TO GREECE FROM TURKEY

Mr. Süleyman Kozuva, Chairman of Cerkezkoy CCI  and Mr. Georgiadis Stefanos, Chairman of Drama CCI both express their belief  that this cooperation would benefit the region and two  countries.in their opening speeches at the opening event at the Drama Chamber. President Mr.Kozuva said the following in his speech: As you know, we have taken the first step of our project that will benefit SMEs of the two regions together in our Çerkezköy Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We will strengthen this beginning with the work we will do here for 4 days. We believe that these activities will provide great benefits to the members registered in our Chambers and the development of commercial relations. Dear guests, two countries which are most similar to each other in European countries, Turkey and Greece. On both sides there is the warmth and sincerity of the south. We clearly see the fruits of our friendship which has been advancing in the framework of good faith and understanding now for a long time in our economic relations. We observe the most concrete reflections of the dialogue and cooperation process in our relations with Greece in the fields of trade, economy, transportation and tourism. We hope that this positive growth will continue and we believe that we will contribute as Çerkezköy CCI to carry out our bilateral relations further.”


TRADE VOLUME WILL INCREASE

“The launch of sea voyages between Izmir and Thessaloniki, the establishment of a high-speed rail line between Istanbul and Thessaloniki, and the completion of the second bridge at the Ipsala-Kipi Customs Gate, as stated by Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, will facilitate the growth of our present tarde volume  which is currently 3.5 billion euros. I hope these projects will come to life with the best. I believe that our Improving European Dialogue for Business project will build a bridge between the two countries and provide great benefits both in terms of human affairs and trade.”

Turkey's Consul General in Komotini Mr. İbrahim Saklı and Thessaloniki Attache Mr. Serkan Buralı were also present during the event which was ended with presentation of symbolic gifts from each Chambers.

DRAMA CCI MEMBERS VISITED

The Chamber of Greece's program continued with visiting  the establishments of  Drama CCI members. Our Chamber Delegation visited Drama CCI member of FHL-KIRIAKIDIS GROUP marble processing center, bakery production center owned by Mrs. Anastasia Tektonidou, Hydroponic greenhouse owned by Mr. Savvidis Lerollis and potato production factory of Mr.Giannis Keskinoglu.

B2B INTERVIEWS WERE HELD

B2B meetings were held with the aim of increasing cooperation between the two Chamber SMEs and developing bilateral dialogues. In addition, Drama CCI President Mr. Georgiadis Stefanos informed .Cerkezkoy CCI President Mr. Süleyman Kozuva about the activities of the Drama Chamber.
